Job description
SOUNDBOKS is an innovative tech company and aspiring lifestyle brand. You may have seen us at a music festival, street party, or your friend’s celebration (think: private events combining festival-grade sound with beat-enhancing lights) where special moments are turned into memories. We create the loudest, most durable, and arguably coolest Bluetooth speakers and audio reactive lights on the market.
At SOUNDBOKS, trust and community go hand in hand. People are encouraged to take ownership of their work while knowing they have the support of the team behind them. Voices are heard, ideas are welcomed, and collaboration is what pushes us forward.
This is more than a job - it’s a community where people care about each other, celebrate together, and share the energy of creating something meaningful. Life at SOUNDBOKS is bold, fast, and full of passion - for the product, for the mission, and for showing up as your true self. With 80 team members, this is a place where you can do your best work and truly belong.
ROLE REPAIR ASSISTANT
TEAM QUALITY
HOURS FULL TIME
LOCATION COPENHAGEN, DENMARK
START DATE DECEMBER 1ST
The SOUNDBOKS Quality Team is hands-on across the entire product journey - from development and manufacturing to compliance, technical support, and repairs. Their goal is to reduce failures, safeguard product performance, and improve the customer experience across everything we do.
The Repair Team - a small but mighty crew handling EU repairs and supporting partners worldwide. The team works closely with Technical Support and Customer Service, and feed insights to Product Quality to solve recurring issues and design smarter repair solutions.
As a Repair Assistant at SOUNDBOKS, you’ll be the one bringing products back to life. Most of your time will go into hands-on troubleshooting and repairs, making sure every product is fully functional and up to set standards. You’ll also support global partners by creating clear repair guides, coordinating spare parts, and keeping repairs efficient and consistent. And because we believe in empowering users, in time you’ll help build DIY processes and guides that let customers and partners carry out their own repairs with confidence.
Okay, let’s make things a little more concrete. Here’s what we expect your daily life to look like:
Repairs & Quality Assurance
You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and test SOUNDBOKS products until they’re ready to play at full power again.
You’ll keep turnaround times low while making sure every repair is solid and reliable.
You’ll return products to customers fully functional - and sounding just right.
Partner & Customer Repair Support
You’ll coordinate spare parts and create clear, practical instructions that make repairs smooth and simple.
You’ll respond to partner questions, offering quick and reliable support.
You’ll support the creation of DIY repair guides that give customers and partners the confidence to fix products on their own - saving time and cutting down on workshop shipments.
Process Improvement & Insights
You’ll document repairs, track recurring issues, and share insights that will drive product improvements.
You’ll suggest and test smarter, safer, and faster repair processes.
You’ll grow with the role, taking on new challenges as our repair and service strategy evolves.
Job requirements
In order to become a success in this role, we believe that your profile should be aligned with the bullets listed below. However, we acknowledge that success can take many forms, so please do apply even if you don’t tick all the boxes:
What you’ll bring
Confidence in using tools and opening up hardware.
Curiosity and a practical mindset for figuring out how things work (and what’s broken).
Attention to detail - following steps, staying safe, and double-checking your work.
Organisation and clarity in how you track tasks, parts, and repair notes, and how you share findings.
It’s a plus if you have
Familiarity with audio gear or consumer electronics.
Experience in a repair shop, workshop, warehouse, or service environment.
An understanding of spare parts logistics or repair partner support.
Experience contributing to DIY repair guides or tinkering with electronics/mechanical devices as a hobby.
Intrigued? At SOUNDBOKS you’ll find yourself a part of a community. We realize that growth is a process and we don’t expect you to go through it alone. Actually, we guarantee that you won’t have to. We work together in order to work smarter, we inspire each other to be better, and we never forget that every member of the team is responsible for our success.
So, if you’re tired of all of the noise in the job market, we’d love to hear from you. This may be the coolest job you ever have!
